Example:

Assume you published a video on youtube 30 days before.

Your video got 300 views and 60 likes.

What is the probability of getting four likes tomorrow?

Solution:

Getting a view is an independent event.

Viewing the video is an experiment in our example.

Probability he click a like button = 60 / 300 = 0.2

Each experiment will result in two actions. Press the like button or no.

P(4 likes in one day) =?

300 views in 30 days. So ten views in one day.

Now, we got n = 10, p = 0.2, and x = 4.

P(X = 4) = 10C4 (0.2)^4 (0.8)^6

P(X = 4) = 0.08808
