In this class, we will try to understand IP Address in Computer Network.
We have already discussed the basic concepts of the network layer in our previous classes.
IP Address in Computer Network
An IP Address is the identifier used in the IP (Network) Layer of the TCP/IP protocol suite to identify the connection of each device to the internet.
Our previous classes have seen that each computer is provided with an address for unique identification.
As shown in the image below, we have considered those addresses as A and B.
In practice, the address looks different.
Here is a sample IP address: “123 . 3. 12. 31”.
There are two versions of IP addresses.
- IPv4
- IPv6
In our course, we will discuss only IPv4.
